Retail Therapy.

Yesterday was a day of some much needed shopping for us. There were a few stores that we wanted to check out in the hunt for some cheap, great pieces. I must say, we did not have as much luck as we wanted. Where did we end up getting most of our buys? Forever21 and H&M. One can ALWAYS walk out with something.

H&M is giving away some amazing shopping bags these days...
Sarah didn't get so lucky...

To buy or not to buy? Buy.

& No to colored fur.

& the not so impressive...
Love Culture definitely has a huge selection & cheap prices...but not feeling the quality of the clothes. Don't get me wrong, Forever and H&M are not your best quality, but they do not look at cheap as these clothes do.

2b or...NOT 2b? This is suppose to be a lower end of bebe ..what a joke. If you want tacky, cheap prints then this is your place! This store was so trashed, we were in & out in minutes.

Modeling our Mac lips...
Time to unwind..

Fat Tuesday, anyone?

We may not exactly live down South to celebrate Mardi Gra, but who isn't looking for a reason to celebrate? Everyone is! Kristina has been to Mardi Gra & says it is one big party! There are society balls, streets filled with parades, music so loud that you may just have to scream to talk to the person next to you, beads & candy thrown all over. The more beads the better, right? (Stop thinking dirty!) It's definitely a time you may never forget.

Cheers!

Big THANKS to Sarah's sister, Andrea Klein, for the amazing b&w photos!

Cravings

Kristina's cravings at the moment...

Sunnies . Dress . Necklace .  Cuff . Cropped Tank . Skirt . Swim . Clutch

I am one for layering, I love that about the colder seasons. But enough is enough, I am ready to SCREAM "Summer!" All I want to do is get my tan on, put tons of bangles on & wear all the cropped tanks & maxis I want! Who is one of your fav designers? If you haven't noticed by this cravings collage, Nicole Richie is another fav of mine. Love her style. What are you looking forward to this Summer, maxi dresses, embellished sandals, or just not having to bundle up when leaving the house?

Sarah's cravings at the moment...

Essie nail polish & Escada perfume . Tunic . Bracelet . Yonanas . Ice Tea

I LOVE all things summer!  Nothings screams summer to me like bright bold nail colors and Escada perfumes! YUM!  Next time you are in a store that sells Escada make sure you check it out, it is amazing!  I also LOVE fro yo and this Yonanas machine looks so delish, I'm definitely going to get one, it turns frozen fruit into fro yo!  Even though it's February ( UGH ) it's never too soon to put a little summer in your life!

Happy "eventually it will be summer" shopping!

Get Fit.

I don't know about you but I have had a rough winter!  Winters in the Mid-West
seem extra long and depressing.  I know fitness should be a year round commitment but
when the days are cold and you are all bundled up, thinking about swimsuit season is the
last thing on your mind!  Since spring/summer is right around the corner I figured it was
time to get into gear and get in shape! Kristina and I started bootcamp about a month ago
and it feels GREAT to get moving, it's very intense and is at 5:30 am but we LOVE it!
Go us!  I hope this post motivates you to get moving, even if it's just for a walk!

Happy exercising!

Nail it.

Well manicured nails are just as important as the accessories you put on to compliment an outfit.  Nails can be anything from simple and classic to fun and flashy, it all depends on your outfit.  I don't know about you but  I am way over due for a mani pedi and can't wait to get a new paint job, now I just need to decide on a color!

                                                                     Happy Painting!

Color Blocking

What trends will you be sporting this Spring? Color blocking is a fav of ours that seems to be very on trend these days. It consists of two or more bold, solid-color pieces that make for a confident statement. Are you sporting it? Don't know exactly how to? If you shy away from head-to-toe color, try using neutrals with a one colored clothing item or opt for a colorful accessory.

Rock star skinny Old Navy
Leopard clutch DSW

Cantaloupe top Modcloth
Green skirt Modcloth
Tribal clutch Forever21
Skinny jeans AEO

Green wedge Zara

LOVES. At The Moment

- A to Zoe, an essential guide to the art of fashion. - Revlon lip glosses are great for color if you're not a huge fan on lipstick (always feel like lipstick is more high maintenance vs. lip gloss.) - Influence is a great read that consist of interviews by many fabulous designers. - Leopard? Who doesn't love it! - Sparking white wine, Moscato ..Yum!
